FOUNDATION OPTIONS: ARCH BUILDINGS
FOUNDATION REQUIREMENTS FOR STEEL ARCH BUILDINGS
All permanent Toro steel arch buildings require a concrete foundation. The foundation type and design depends on your building size, local frost depth, soil conditions, and intended use. Every Toro arch building package includes foundation anchor bolt plans engineered for your specific building.
Concrete Perimeter Wall
The most common foundation for arch buildings. A continuous concrete wall around the building perimeter provides a solid base for the arch panels and resists spreading forces.
Concrete Slab with Integral Footings
A monolithic slab with thickened edges provides both a floor and foundation in one pour. Popular for smaller buildings and DIY projects.
Concrete Piers
Individual concrete piers at anchor points are used where a full perimeter wall is not required. Common for open-sided or temporary structures.
Helical Piers
For challenging soil conditions, helical piers provide deep load transfer without extensive excavation. Our engineers can spec helical piers for your site.
