WHAT IS GALVALUME PLUS?
Galvalume Plus is a hot-dip coated steel product using a 55% aluminum / 43.4% zinc / 1.6% silicon alloy. This combination provides dramatically better corrosion protection than traditional galvanized (pure zinc) coatings. The aluminum fraction provides barrier protection and excellent heat reflectivity; the zinc fraction provides sacrificial cathodic protection at cut edges and scratches.
50-Year Corrosion Warranty
Manufacturer warrants against perforation from corrosion for 50 years in normal atmospheric conditions.
2–4x More Durable
Independent testing shows Galvalume Plus lasts 2–4x longer than galvanized steel in identical exposure conditions.
Heat Reflective
